Recap: MAST Charter II Voyagers vs. Frankford Pioneers
The MAST Charter II Voyagers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 49-12 loss at the hands of Frankford on Monday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zanayiah Cross, who scored 10 points along with 8 steals and 6 assists. The matchup was Cross' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Raif, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 7 steals.
MAST Charter II's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Frankford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MAST Charter II will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Frankford, they will be playing at home against Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
