Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Creek vs. Cosumnes Oaks

Laguna Creek is 0-4 against Cosumnes Oaks since December of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Laguna Creek Cardinals will look to defend their home pitch against the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. Laguna Creek's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Laguna Creek is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 4. They and Galt finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Cosumnes Oaks brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They never let West Campus onto the board and left with a 5-0 win last Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit West Campus with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Avery Nogosek (2), Penelope Lake, Kailana Bursiaga, and Jalana Kimber.

Laguna Creek's draw makes their record 5-2-2 this season. As for Cosumnes Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.
