Volleyball Recap: Collins-Maxwell Takes a Loss

Collins-Maxwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Academy Ravens. If Collins-Maxwell was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Hillcrest Academy when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Collins-Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hillcrest Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Collins-Maxwell will be playing at home against Meskwaki Settlement at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against English Valleys on the 6th.
