Football Game Recap: Wheaton/Herman-Norcross vs. Brandon/Evansville

If Brandon/Evansville were riding high off their 54-15 takedown of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. On Friday, Brandon/Evansville were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 8-14 to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross. Brandon/Evansville were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheaton/Herman-Norcross apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.

The defeat dropped Brandon/Evansville's record to 1-2. The victory bumped Wheaton/Herman-Norcross' record up to 3-0.

Next week Brandon/Evansville take on Bertha-Hewitt at 7:00 PM. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. As for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, they will face off against Rothsay.
