Basketball Recap: North Star Takes a Loss

North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 48-20 defeat at the hands of the Glendale Vikings. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Glendale was led to victory by Madison Peterson and Brielle Mcmillen. Peterson posted 24 points, while Mcmillen had 17 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Peterson has scored at least a third of Glendale's points.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Glendale, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Star has already played their next matchup (against Meyersdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Glendale will head out on the road to square off against Williamsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
