Baseball Game Preview: Conant Orioles vs. Monadnock Huskies

The Conant Orioles are taking a road trip to take on the Monadnock Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Conant is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Bishop Brady, who was ranked fifth at the time (Conant was ranked 17th). The Orioles fell just short of the Giants by a score of 11-10 on Friday. The Orioles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Monadnock put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over Raymond. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Monadnock, their victory bumped their record up to 16-0.

Conant skirted past Monadnock 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Orioles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
