Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central fell victim to Academy for Classical Education and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Gryphons, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-0 on Friday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Academy for Classical Education, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Central will venture away from home to face off against Dodge County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will head out to challenge Georgia Military College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Gryphons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
