Football Recap: Estacado Matadors vs. Perryton Rangers
Estacado had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 6-2 to make it four. They came out on top against the Perryton Rangers by a score of 58-51. That's two games straight that the Matadors have won by exactly seven points.
James Bozeman had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 166 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Cedric Ross was another key back, rushing for 73 yards and one TD.

Estacado didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Bozeman led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. D'Marie Traylor also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
As for Perryton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. They gained 198 more yards on the day, but it was Estacado that made the best use of them.
Perryton's loss came despite strong showings from Cooper Ryan Schilling and Marco Najera.
