LaFayette extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-3. They never let the Heritage Generals get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ramblers have posted since August 19th.

As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games.

For Heritage's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Pritchett, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Pritchett's first of the season.

LaFayette will have a chance to go back-to-back against Heritage: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
