Spalding gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Stockbridge Tigers with a sharp 17-3 win. The Jaguars not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3, 2024 (when they won 18-1).

Abigail Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Smith was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
