Football Recap: Chopticon Falls to Northern in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Chopticon had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Northern Patriots. The Braves have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Blake Pasik had an outrageously good game for Northern as he threw for 181 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards and one score. Dominic Rivera was another key player, picking up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chopticon will welcome St. Charles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern, they will host McDonough at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
