Baseball Recap: Sprayberry Comes Up Short

If Sprayberry was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Centennial on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Riverwood Raiders on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sprayberry's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Riverwood, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 10-18 record.

While Sprayberry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
