King's Ridge Christian proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 16) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Mount Vernon Mustangs 7-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

King's Ridge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Mount Vernon, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, King's Ridge Christian will welcome Wesleyan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wesleyan will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something King's Ridge Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount Vernon, they will head out to face off against Paideia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Vernon is facing Paideia at the right time seeing as Paideia is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
