Soccer Game Preview: Harrison vs. Pebblebrook

The Harrison Hoyas will head out to face off against the Pebblebrook Falcons at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Harrison comes in on ten and Pebblebrook on seven.

Harrison is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Archer, who was ranked third at the time (Harrison was ranked sixth). Harrison never let Archer get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. Harrison's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Pebblebrook duked it out with South Cobb on Friday. Pebblebrook blew past South Cobb 5-0. Considering Pebblebrook have won four games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit South Cobb with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brian Grande (2), Christopher Banfield, David Hernandez, and Angel Cruz.

Harrison's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Pebblebrook, their record is now 8-1.

Harrison came out on top in a nail-biter against Pebblebrook in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. Will Harrison repeat their success, or does Pebblebrook has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
