Soccer Recap: Merced's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Merced's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the El Capitan Gauchos 3-0. The Bears better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Dalilah Lua, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Merced's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for El Capitan, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2.

Merced will be playing at home against Los Banos at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Merced is facing Los Banos at the right time seeing as Los Banos is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for El Capitan, they will venture away from home to square off against Atwater at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
