While Delta's win against Muncie Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Bearcats 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Delta got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-18, 28-30, 22-25, 16-14.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Muncie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta will head out to face off against Shelbyville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Muncie Central, they will challenge Blue River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
