Baseball Game Preview: Willits Wolverines vs. Tomales Braves

Willits has gone a perfect 4-0 against Tomales recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home field against the Braves at 1:00 p.m. Willits will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Willits is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over International. Nine seems to be a good number for the Wolverines as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Tomales got the win against Drew on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-1. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

Willits' victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Tomales, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Willits was able to grind out a solid victory over Tomales in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 6-2. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
