Marian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lincoln Northeast Rockets, sneaking past 14-13. Considering the Crusaders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Keely Robbins, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since September 5th. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Kroll, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Marian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They are 2-1 when they post two or more home runs.

Marian's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Lincoln Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Marian has already played their next matchup, a 10-5 win against Pius X on the 27th. As for Lincoln Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Lincoln Southwest on the 27th.
