Soccer Game Preview: San Marin vs. Marin Catholic

San Marin is 1-8-1 against Marin Catholic since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The San Marin Mustangs will host the Marin Catholic Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

San Marin came up short against Tamalpais on Saturday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 474th, while the Red Tailed Hawks are ranked 150th).

San Marin's goal came courtesy of Tatum D'Angelica, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Marin Catholic waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Peregrine Falcons onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one goal.

San Marin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Marin Catholic, they pushed their record up to 5-2-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
