Basketball Recap: River Springs Comes Up Short

River Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 45-2 loss at the hands of the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners. River Springs was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-2.

Loma Linda Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Springs will host Public Safety Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loma Linda Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Redlands Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
