Baseball Recap: Stone Mountain Takes a Loss

Stone Mountain lost against Mt. Zion back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 16-3.

Stone Mountain dropped their record down to 0-8-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Mt. Zion, their record now sits at 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Mountain will face off against Stephenson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Zion, they will square off against Douglass at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Astros have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
