Football Recap: Wabasha-Kellogg Comes Up Short

If Wabasha-Kellogg was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Bethlehem Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell 26-14 to the Spring Grove Lions on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wabasha-Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Spring Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wabasha-Kellogg will face off against rival Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spring Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Kingsland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 12.5, the Knights 11) so any points scored will be well earned.
