Softball Recap: Northfield Comes Up Short

Northfield and Columbine squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Northfield had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Nighthawks haven't been shut out since back in September.

Northfield's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7. As for Columbine, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

As of now, neither Northfield nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
