Softball Preview: Denver East Angels vs. Denver North Vikings

The Angels are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Denver East will be strutting in after a win while Denver North will be coming in after a defeat.

Grace Faris made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
