Soccer Game Preview: Nevada vs. Fort Dodge

The Nevada Cubs will head out on the road to take on the Fort Dodge Dodgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Dodge took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Nevada, who comes in off a win.

Nevada can't be too worried about heading out to take on Fort Dodge: they just beat Greene County at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. The Cubs never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Nevada might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Dodge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to Lincoln. That's two games in a row now that Fort Dodge have lost by exactly ten goals.

The win made it two in a row for Nevada and bumps their season record up to 11-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. As for Fort Dodge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
