Baseball Game Preview: Georgia Military College Bulldogs vs. Johnson County Trojans

For the second straight game, Georgia Military College will face off against Johnson County. The Bulldogs will welcome the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Georgia Military College has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Johnson County will come in with nine straight wins.

Johnson County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Georgia Military College only managed four hits.

Johnson County pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Georgia Military College, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Georgia Military College has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Johnson County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.5 strikeouts.
