Football Recap: Philomath Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Philomath's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Marist Spartans on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Philomath's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Marist, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Philomath will challenge Sweet Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Marist, they will take on Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
