Basketball Recap: Charter Oak Takes a Loss

Charter Oak has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Rowland Raiders on Tuesday, falling 62-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chargers have suffered since December 2, 2024.

Rowland was led to victory by Adrienne Bausley and Isabella Tran. Bausley went 9 for 19 on her way to 23 points in addition to six assists and five steals, while Tran posted 21 points along with seven boards and four steals. That's the most points Bausley has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Marinez, who put up nine points.

Charter Oak's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rowland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Charter Oak will square off against Covina at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rowland, they will challenge West Covina at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
