Softball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington entered their game against Poteau on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors fell 10-7 to the Pirates. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

The victory made it two in a row for Washington and bumps their season record up to 19-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Poteau, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-6 defeat against Southmoore on the 8th. As for Poteau, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Tishomingo on the 5th.
