Softball Recap: Nevada Takes a Loss

Nevada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the West Marshall Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on June 9th.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for West Marshall, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.

Nevada wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Boone on the 1st. As for West Marshall, they have also already played their next match, a 5-2 victory against East Marshall on the 1st.
