Jackson County came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Clarke Central Gladiators get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

Jackson County got a great performance from Adalyn Mitchell as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Mitchell has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ryleigh O'Brien was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Wilson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Jackson County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clarke Central only posted a batting average of .000.

Jackson County's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Clarke Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson County will welcome Loganville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Clarke Central, they will face off against Central Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
