Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Druid Hills

The Jackson Jaguars will face off against the Druid Hills Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Druid Hills is headed out to face a Jackson squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Jackson lost 4-0 to Decatur on February 6th. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, while the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Woodward Academy who was credited with the victory last Friday. Woodward Academy got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Druid Hills' one. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson came up short against Druid Hills when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Jackson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
