Football Recap: Tularosa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tularosa was the 24-22 winner over Ruidoso when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.

Ruidoso found their leader in sophomore Mason Fikany, who rushed for 120 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Fikany really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.

Tularosa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ruidoso, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Tularosa will be playing in front of their home fans against Estancia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ruidoso, they will head out to take on West Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
