Softball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Perry's offense. They came up short against the Pella Dutch on Monday, falling 8-0. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Dutch recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-1. As for Pella, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Perry and Pella are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bluejays will take on Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pella, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saydel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
