Basketball Game Preview: McKinleyville Panthers vs. Eureka Loggers

McKinleyville hasn't had much luck against Eureka recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The McKinleyville Panthers will challenge the Eureka Loggers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when McKinleyville duked it out withArcata on Thursday. McKinleyville received a blow as they fell 54-35 to Arcata.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Eureka's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arcata.

Eureka's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-3. As for McKinleyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

McKinleyville was taken down by Eureka 47-17 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can McKinleyville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
