Soccer Game Preview: Faith Christian vs. Beta Academy

The Faith Christian Saints will venture away from home to face off against the Beta Academy Fighters at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Faith Christian lost 8-1 to Cristo Rey Jesuit on Thursday. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Beta Academy's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Bob Hope by a goal, winning 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighters.

Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Beta Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Faith Christian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Beta Academy in their previous meeting back in February. Can Faith Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
