Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jordan last Thursday, Calvary Christian came back down to earth. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Central Red Devils who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Central Red Devils got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Calvary Christian Knights' two. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Christian fell to 2-1. As for Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Calvary Christian will challenge Glenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will face off against Scottsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
