Baseball Recap: Southeast Bulloch Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Southeast Bulloch came into Monday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Vidalia Indians by a score of 4-1 on Monday.

Cade Harnage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rhett Morgan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Brady Edwards was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Southeast Bulloch's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Vidalia, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Southeast Bulloch will square off against Metter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vidalia, they will be playing at home against Savannah Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Savannah Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Vidalia likes a good challenge.
