Maple River won the last time they faced Sibley East and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Wolverines. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Maple River has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-16 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Sibley East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

Coming up, Maple River will be playing in front of their home fans against Blue Earth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sibley East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
