Baseball Game Preview: Antioch Sequoits vs. Round Lake Panthers

For the second straight game, Antioch will face off against Round Lake. The Sequoits will welcome the Panthers at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Antioch has three straight wins, Round Lake has 29 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Antioch had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Round Lake on Monday. The Sequoits were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Panthers.

Alexander Herstowski was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Jaxon Poglayen was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Antioch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Round Lake only posted an OBP of .190.

Round Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Antioch, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16.
