Basketball Recap: Bucktail Piles Up the Points Against Galeton

Bucktail won the last time they faced Galeton and things went their way on Friday too. The Bucktail Bucks took their game with ease, bagging a 43-6 victory over the Galeton Tigers.

Despite the loss, Galeton still got an impressive performance from Tanner Sunderlin, who posted six points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Sunderlin a new career-high in points.

The win got Bucktail back to even at 1-1. As for Galeton, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Bucktail will host Northern Potter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Potter will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bucktail surely won't give up without a fight. As for Galeton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-5 loss against Williamson on the 7th.
