Springfield scored the most points they've had this season on Sunday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Spring-Ford Rams by a score of 60-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cougars have suffered since January 6, 2024.

Spring-Ford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kareena Preuss led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance gave Preuss a new career-high in rebounds. Emma Kaercher was another key player, putting up 16 points.
