Softball Recap: Liberty County Comes Up Short

Liberty County fell victim to Southeast Bulloch and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Yellow Jackets. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Liberty County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayleigh Barnard, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Liberty County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Southeast Bulloch, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

While Liberty County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
