Baseball Recap: Dodge County Comes Up Short

Dodge County lost to Bleckley County on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dodge County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Yawn, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was Yawn's first of the season.

Dodge County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bleckley County, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dodge County is set to challenge their familiar foe Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bleckley County will take on rival East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
