Baseball Recap: Gordon Central Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Gordon Central was forced to take a big defeat against Armuchee on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 7-3 win over the Indians. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jamari Milsap was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Dyer, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Gordon Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Gordon Central's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Armuchee, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-13 record.

Gordon Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
