Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson and Athens squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Jackson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Ironman/Ironladies just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bodhi Wolford, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Athens, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

As of now, neither Jackson nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
