Softball Recap: Islands Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Islands's offense. They came up short against the Long County Blue Tide on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Sharks in their meetings with the Blue Tide: they've now lost five in a row.

Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Long County, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Islands will take on rival Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Long County is set to square off against their familiar foe Jenkins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
