Central Heights has gone a perfect 3-0 against Tatum recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tatum will be up against a hot Central Heights team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Blue Devils never let Newton get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Tatum got the win against Brook Hill on Friday by a conclusive 8-1.

Logan Cansler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

On the hitting side, Tatum let Colt Bullard and Tucker Anthony run wild. Bullard scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Anthony went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. What's more, Bullard posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Whiteus, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Central Heights' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Tatum, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Central Heights took their win against Tatum in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
