Basketball Recap: Turlock Falls Despite Big Games from Chloe Khodi and Isabella Moran

Turlock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They came up short against the Modesto Panthers, falling 41-19. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-26 back in January.

Turlock's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Isabella Moran, who posted 11 points and three steals, and Chloe Khodi, who had no points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Moran a new career-high in field goal percentage (36%).

Modesto found their leader in sophomore Eshrajjit Rai, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Maeve Kidd was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Turlock's loss dropped their record down to 2-26. As for Modesto, their win bumped their record up to 7-17.

As of now, neither Turlock nor Modesto have any future games scheduled.
