Soccer Recap: Arcata Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Arcata was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Sonoma Academy Coyotes could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Arcata's goal came courtesy of Cruz Aguilar, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Arcata's record moves to 1-1-1.

Arcata didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Fortuna on the 29th. As for Sonoma Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Kelseyville on the 27th.
